COVER GIRL and BOY

The dancer or couple (no more than 2 dancers) who sell the most advertising will have their image on the cover of the Souvenir Program  and on the Award Certificates.

Souvenir Program Prizes

FREE Pages

Dancers selling $1,000 in advertising will receive a free full page in the program for a photo cropped to 7X9 inches.  There is no limit to the number of dancers who may participate in this event.  Either individual students, small groups or the entire group may participate together to earn a full page in the Souvenir Program. In 2003, Mexico 2000 Folklórico Dance School earned a total of five free pages.  

Dancers selling $500 in advertising will receive 1/2 page for photo cropped to 4X6 inches.  There is no limit to the number of dancers who may participate in this category either.  The $200 can also be used to upgrade the complimentary 1/2 page given to each group participating in the festival to a full page. 

Earn CASH

In addition to pages EARN 50% of all Sales Individual students, groups or directors may earn cash to be used for the individual's or group's travel, entry fees, costumes or master class fees.

To help you sell the advertisement we have included additional advertiser incentives based on the ad sizes.  For specific incentives see the Program Sponsor page and also the Corporate Sponsor page for details.  Full Page is 8.5"X11" leave 1/2" margins. Contest Deadline

Contest deadline is midnight January 31st, 2005. Please fill out the forms carefully and completely. Send the following to Att. Liz Gallego, PO Box 227496, Dallas, Texas 75222.

  1. Fund Raising Payment Form
  2. Completed Sponsor Form for each ad sold.
  3. Place ad instructions on the back of each form.
  4. Paper clip art work, business cards, other materials to corresponding Sponsor Form.
  5. Send one check made payable to the Texas Association for Hispanic Dance and Culture (TAHDC).  Keep 50% of advertising sales to be used by your group as needed.

Advertising Deadline

We continue to accept advertising through midnight February 15th. Groups will still earn 50% but they will not be eligible for free photo pages or other contest incentives. To complete the program by March 1st advertising will not be accepted after midnight February 15th. 

All groups and/or individuals who participated in the 2005 campaign have until November 1st to contact the 2005 patrocinadores. If a person sells an add to a patron that is someone else's contact--the original TAHDC member will be given credit for the sale. After November 1st there are no restrictions.

 

Vendors Bring Fun to Festival

All dancers and organizations participating in the Folklórico Festival of Texas are eligible to take part in the the Souvenir Fund Raising Project.  Each year we put together a Festival Souvenir Program with pictures of all the participating groups, festival schedule, and competition entries.  The advertising that you sell will earn you prizes, produce a nicer festival, and 50% can be used to:
