We searched the Internet for the most economical rates and the closest locations.  The sites we found are listed below. 

For those of you wishing to research additional options: Molina High School, 2355 Duncanville Road, Dallas, Texas is located off of Loop 12 between Highway 20 and Highway 30 in southwest Dallas.  We are close to Grand Prairie and  Duncanville. The only landmark near Molina High School is Mountain View Community College that is across the street

 I recommend using the Yahoo search engine to find additional information.  Type in hotels and click. Then select the first option (research hotels) this will take you to the Travelocity page that can search for hotels using the Molina address.

The Hampton Inn in the West End at 1015 Elm Street Dallas, Texas 75202 is giving us a group rate of $89 a night plus tax (15%). To make your reservation call 214-742-5678 and mention the Folklórico Festival. The room rate includes one to four occupants and a deluxe continental breakfast. There are many places to eat late in the evening in the West End.  Charter buses parking will be an additional $35. per day. The group rate will be available through March 15th pending on room availability. Groups needing 10 or more rooms are to contact Celia Davies at 214-442-6257 during business hours to make your reservation. You will be required to give the Hampton Inn a list of people staying in each room.

La Quinta Inn Grand Prairie at 1410 NW 19th Street, Grand Prairie, Texas 75050 is giving us a group rate of $49 with 1-4 adults in the room. Standard fee for one adult is $55+ tax, two adults is $61+ tax.  The tax in Grand Prairie is 13%. Room rate includes Free continental breakfast, free local calls, and HBO.  All rooms contain an  ironing board, hair dryer and coffee maker. Motel 6 Southwest, 4220 Independence (972-296-3331) offers the lowest room rates with the fees for the 3rd and 4th person waived in double rooms.  On the evening of April 1st the room rate will be 35.99 plus tax.  On April 2nd and 3rd the room rate will be 39.99 plus tax. Every year all the rooms are filled. If you plan to attend and take advantage of Motel 6 room rates book early. 4.3 miles

Motel 6 Duncanville, 202 Jellison (972-296-0345) best price is the price on their website www.motel6.com. When we checked prices on August 1st prices ranged from 41.99 to 44.99 plus tax for two queen beds.  Children under 17 years of age stay free when accompanied by a family member. 3.9 miles

Ramada Inn Duncanville, 711 E. Camp Wisdom Road (972-298-8911) Room rate is $ 59 per night double occupancy, each additional adult is $10.  Children under seventeen accompanied by an adult stay free. 4.1 miles

A Budget Suites of America offers contestants the most comfortable environment conveniently located near restaurants that stay open late. The festival room rate is a very reasonable of $59 plus tax for a double occupancy suite.  Rooms have one queen size bed so they do not book 3 or 4 persons. Call the toll free number 877-822-5272 and mention the festival to receive the discounted room rate.
